Proposal and Plan:
Greetings, and THANK YOU for taking an interest in the building project for Light Baptist Church. Light Baptist Church was started in 2017. Pastor Alex and his dear wife and family were instrumental in planting this church and have been faithfully pastoring/ministering in this congregation since then. By God’s grace, people have continued to be saved and have found their places of service in L.B.C. One of the primary hinderances to the growth of this he congregation has been the lack of facilities. Earlier in 2021, we were able to purchase a prime plot right along the main highway here in Mzuzu. I thank the Lord for the men and women in Light Baptist who have the vision and dedication to be involved with the Lords work in-spite of having no proper facilities. We hope to see significant interest and attendance once the new building is finished.
The plan is to build a good standard building which is suitable for the location and meets government requirements for a building built along the M1 (main road). We expect the initial budget to be around $35,000 usd. The idea will be to build the building in such a way as to allow a larger sanctuary to be “added on” in the future. I hope these “rough sketches” will help give you a vision for this project. Any and all finances labeled as “church building” or “Light Baptist” etc will be directly used in this project. May the Lord direct you as you are involved in this vision one way or another. I have met many Saints along my missionary pathway who truly have no way to contribute financially. I want to tell you that I remember you and I know that you would love to give. Your prayers will move the Lord to move those who can give. Never underestimate the fervent prayer of the righteous.
